Academics

In addition to social responsibility and brotherly love, intellectual awareness is one of ZBT’s main pillars. As a result of the rigorous and challenging courses offered in each of Cal Poly’s esteemed colleges, brothers in every major support each other and utilize older brothers’ wisdom in class-selection and classwork completion. Our chapter maintains a strict academic code for brothers in order to push them to be the best they can be in the classroom. Our Academic Chair reserves study rooms throughout the quarter for brothers to use, and brothers who fail to achieve our set standard have mandatory study hours throughout the quarter. Those achieving Dean’s List each quarter are rewarded with a barbecue dinner courtesy of the chapter.

When Zebes leave Cal Poly and go out into the workplace they make sure not to forget where they came from. Older brothers are always reaching out with advice with school, interview tips, and even internship opportunities.
